Analysis of Low Bit Rate Audio Compression System using Linear Predictive Coding

T. Sheela, B. Satish Chandra

Abstract

Abstract The point of the task is to build up a framework for encoding great quality discourse at a low bit rate. To execute this, we have utilized the most dominant discourse investigation system called Linear Predictive Coding (LPC). It utilizes tenth request Levinson-Durbin Recursion calculation to achieve the errand. It gives amazingly exact evaluations of discourse parameters and is moderately effective for computation. The discourse flag of guys and females were coded. The tradeoffs between the bit rates, start to finish delay, discourse quality and multifaceted nature was broken down. The outcomes demonstrate that venture was effective in coding the discourse motion at moderately low piece rates with great quality.

Keywords: Audio compression, bit rate, LPC, sub-band coding, waveform coding
