Abstract

Abstract

A waste heat recovery system produces power by utilizing the heat energy lost to the surroundings from thermal processes, at no additional fuel input. This research article presents a waste heat in cement plant industry for improving energy efficiency of boiler by using AQC. In the dry process cement plants, nearly 40% of the total heat input is rejected as waste heat from exit gases of preheater and grate cooler. The different reviews based on the aspects of heat recovery and the methodologies and technologies being employed for its optimization in industries, are also studied through literature. This work also concentrated on the different parameters governing the waste heat recovery in the industries.
