Abstract
Millions of people worldwide suffer from lack of water. The importance of water is well known. Many factors compromise the quantity and quality of water supply. To solve this problem, a study was undertaken to evaluate the potential for water-saving by using rainwater harvesting in a college campus, Indore. Rainwater harvesting is a long-standing practice of many countries, still used as a means for dealing with the water problem of today. The total catchment area of college was 59185.38 ft2. So we are going to design and analyze an effective plan by collection recharged groundwater, and use it for domestic needs.
