Abstract

Energy is the fundamental requirement of human life. All our daily activities require energy in one or the other form. The purpose of the research is to illustrate how energy is being channelized to many of our day to day activities. That is, whether the energy is renewable or non-renewable and to find a solution to reduce many of our energy wastages. The usage of our energy and its study brings awareness which helps to increase the living standard of people. Since more percentage of energy comes from non-renewable energy sources, this study gives some sustainable methods by which an individual can contribute in using these energy resources efficiently.

Keywords: Energy efficient homes, energy conserving fans, energy wastage due to water heaters, using clean energy, energy efficiency of lamps, energy efficiency ratings, efficient use of AC.
