INFLUENCE OF PULSED TIG WELDING PROCESS PARAMETERS ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ALUMINIUM ALLOY JOINT: A REVIEW

Abstract


The increase use of aluminium alloy in the previous decades in automobile industry have recommended the research towards learning its behaviour in dissimilar condition with application. Pulsed tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding in aluminium alloy is one of the generally utilized method towards manufacturing the car parts. The present work relates to the enhancement of mechanical properties of Aluminium amalgam welds through beat tungsten latent gas (TIG) welding process. Input parameters were (weld Current, Pulsed Current, and Gas Flow Rate). The output parameters were (Tensile Strength and Shear Strength). Taguchi strategy was utilized to streamline the beat tig welding process parameters of Aluminum compound welds for expanding the mechanical properties.
