Abstract

Abstract
As we know, our interests in Renewable Energy Resources are increasing day by day. So, the increasing integration of distributed generation sources is accompanied by problems with primary energy resources and policy issues such as economic efficiency. Due to these problems, we have to move towards various techniques which are able to eliminate the above problems. These techniques are called Maximum Power Point Tracking or MPPT. In this paper, the research is done on one of the MPPT technique names as Perturb & Observe or P&O. The experimental outputs gave the performance of the technique. This article focuses on the real-time tracking of the maximum power point for a wind turbine based on PMSG. The MPPT algorithm P&O is mainly used, due to its ease of implementation and its low cost. The Perturb and Observe (P&O) has been implemented to extract maximum power at each instant.
