Smart Traffic Control System for Lifeline Vehicles

Abstract


Abstract: This paper presents an innovative approach to overcome the disputes faced by lifeline vehicles like ambulance and fire brigade at the red light of the traffic management system. In this work, a prototype model has been presented using Arduino and smart sensors to manage the red light of the traffic management system by emergency vehicles with advanced security features. The emergency vehicles like ambulance and fire brigade face major issues in a traffic jam and red-light points of a road. This situation sometimes leads to major loss of human being. To avoid these circumstances, this type of vehicles provided special software control over traffic management system under a limited distance. In order to command over misuse of this facility to give to such vehicles, an advanced security feature has opted.
