Abstract

Abstract

A human safety enforcer through helmet is presented in this paper. The design and the developed system in this paper makes sure that the rider can use or ride the two-wheeler only when he has the head protective gear, i.e., helmet put on. This head gear has a smart detector which identifies whether the helmet is worn or not and the information is wirelessly transmitted to the ignition system. The controller in the ignition system takes the decision to start the bike or turn it off. The ignition is turned on only when the rider has the helmet, else it is turned off. Along with the helmet of the rider, the status of the rider, i.e., whether he is intoxicated is also checked for turning on the ignition. If all the conditions are found to be optimum, then only ignition is turned on, else turned off. This system enforces safety and reduces the chances of causality during accidents.
