Modification of Microstrip Antenna by “Hexagonal Shaped” Metamaterial for Wireless Applications
Abstract
Abstract
In this proposed paper, a split ring “Hexagonal Shaped” metamaterial structure is used to modify the factors of antenna. The compact patch antennas (CPA) are directive and their size is small in surroundings. These antennas are sources to achieve the recent requirements. These antennas are desired to be possessing less return loss, better directivity, higher bandwidth and compact size at the operating frequency when used in any communicating operation. This offered antenna is contemplated at the resonating frequency of 2.5 GHz. The coupling of patch and ground along with the metamaterial implementation above the patch antenna enhanced the bandwidth and gain.
