Circular Antenna with Square Slot at 2.1 GHz for RF Energy Harvesting Applications

Abstract


In this paper, a single band circular antenna loaded with square slots having an application in RF energy harvesting is introduced. Proposed antenna containing of a circular antenna along with square slot loaded inside in the patch. For an antenna design, Computer Simulation Technique (CST) solver simulator was used. The antenna is being fabricated and its characteristics were measured. The band is covering most of the wireless applications. The simulated reflection coefficient gain of the proposed antenna, radiation pattern, is presented. This antenna is also low profile and having a low cost.
