Harmonic Analysis of Single Phase Inverter

In this paper, study is carried out to investigate the THD of various voltage control signal techniques for single phase PWM inverter. The inverter is implemented using three pulse width modulation techniques- unipolar PWM, modified sine PWM and harmonic injection modulation. The performance of these control schemes are evaluated through simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The obtained THD and fundamental magnitude of the output AC is tabulated.
