Abstract

JCB machines principal functions are Digging (material removing), Ground leveling and material transport operations. Backhoe attachment is rear part of Excavator machine. The backhoe attachment is subjected to static as well as dynamic forces. Because of several working conditions, Excavator parts, like bucket, arm, and boom are subjected to high loads .Thus, it is necessary to provide a better design of parts having maximum reliability, keeping design safe under loading conditions.
Excavator is very importance member of earth moving equipment family. Excavator bucket is very crucial element of it. So it should has sufficient load sustainable capacity for long working life, because it is cost too. Our main aim is to analyze excavator bucket based of different load condition for safe design. Excavators of JCB are heavy earth moving equipment’s that are equipped with different types of buckets that are useful in various excavation projects. A excavator bucket is a digging attachment connected to an dipper stick of an Excavator. Its purpose is to dig the earth. The buckets are hydraulically controlled. Excavator buckets come in different shapes, sizes and types and each bucket has its own use depending on where it is digging. . JCB bucket or Excavator bucket is made of high quality iron metal such as MS or SS that helps in digging and excavation at various construction sites. Excavator buckets are also used in conventional trenching methods for laying pipelines and also used for digging trial pits for geotechnical investigation. Different situations has different purposes of digging. For that, analysis of bucket is important.
