Fabrication of Adaptive Headlamp System

Nilesh Chanewar

Abstract

According to National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), the percentage of deaths of the pedestrian is high between the hours of 6 pm. to 9 pm. Due to insufficient light conditions. Looking at the current condition it is of great importance to use available techniques to contribute to road safety by increasing the visual image provided by currently used vehicle  headlights. The feature of these headlamps is that they turn with the steering motion, so that the driver of the vehicle can see the bend, what driver is actually turning into. In 2005, the government formed a committee, chaired by Shri S. Sundar, former Secretary of State for Transport, to debate and give recommendations on the establishment of a dedicated agency for road safety and traffic management. The Committee was also asked to develop a draught National Road Safety Policy for the Government's consideration. The Committee, in its February 2007 report, recommended a draught National Road Safety Policy, among other things. The Union Cabinet approved the National Road Safety Policy on March 15, 2010, based on the recommendations of the Sunder Committee. The National Road Safety Policy lays out the policy measures that the government will develop and implement at all levels to promote road safety in the country.
