Abstract

Abstract

The performance of structural connections of all types has been the subject of intensive research during the last two decades. In connection system for the space structure, considering structural and geometrical requirements, many researches have provided different types and forms of connectors. Modern research from Luciano Mendes Bezerra, Cleirton André Silva de Freitas, William Taylor Matias, Yosiaki Nagato (increasing load capacity of end-flattened connections, 2009), Seyed Amin Mostafavian, Mohammad Reza Davoodi, Javad Vaseghi Amiri (dynamic behavior of a Ball joint, 2012), O. Caglayan, E. Yuksel (collapse of a MERO space truss roof structure, 2008), C. A.S. de Freitas, L.M. Bezerra, R.M. Araujo G.M. Araújo (reinforce of the stamped connection, 2013) provide the study of defects and the modification to be made in a connector.
