Abstract

In our daily life, we use many types of energy sources like electricity, coal, wood and LPG for preparation of food. The main problem regarding these fuels is that they are non-renewable and polluting. With increasing population and increased usage rate, these fuels are being depleted more and more rapidly and also their prices are getting high. So, there should be an alternative for the energy source regarding this depleting problem, as need of energy is a never-ending scenario. Need of energy is endless even if the sources are not available. The major part of heat energy of daily life usage is used in cooking the food for consumption of daily need. There should be greater concern about renewable, non-polluting and easily available energy sources. This can only be provided by solar energy. It is clean, renewable (i.e. daily available) and freely available energy for everyone. So, there should be greater concern on emphasis on heat generation by the use of solar energy. Sun can greatly provide us heat, eliminating use of conventional sources, mostly LPG, which is currently used widely, compared to other sources. Sun gives us enormous amount of energy and we can generate heat by concentrating sun rays. This can provide high temperatures sufficient for cooking food. Daily use of concentrated energy can considerably decrease the use of conventional energy sources and it eliminates the dependency of human beings on conventional energy sources.
