A Slotted Fabric Antenna for Broad Band Application

Abstract


This article is presented a compact slotted textile patch antenna for broadband applications. The presented antenna is designed on textile substrate with dielectric constant of 1.7 and the anticipated antenna is compact size. It has been simulated using CST too and measurement is done with network analyzer. It covers a bandwidth of 6.45 GHz extending from 2.85 GHz to 9.30 GHz. It has maximum directivity of 2.932 dBi. The measured results are having good agreement with the simulated results.
