Analysing the Effects of Coal and Dust on Solar Panel and Improving the Fill Factor by using Spray Cooling
Abstract
Abstract
In the present scenario, the solar energy contributes maximum to the pool of renewable energy. The rate of consumption of energy is increasing day-by-day; therefore, the demand of energy is also increasing. As the population is increasing day-by-day and the non-renewable resources are getting over like coal, petrol, hydro, etc. The solar panels can be used at remote locations, other than households, for fulfilling the energy requirements as there is need for substitute power sources at such places. So keeping this idea an experiment is conducted out on a PV module (50 watt) under normal conditions and efficiency is calculated and similarly with dust and coal readings were taken according to the experimental setup. The temperature plays an important role in improving the efficiency. The, readings were taken after cooling the same panel using cooling spray under the same conditions.
