Abstract

Abstract
With the advancement in the technology of machine-to-machine communications and wireless sensor systems offering a unique factor for logistic companies, they can locate and track a package from its origin to destination. Additionally, they can also monitor its transportation conditions all through the journey. In today’s world freight shipping industry is booming. The proper devices are very scarce to improve the management process. The available devices are not as intelligent and efficient that it can drastically increase the quality of service and at the same time make it more cost effective and efficient. So here we have proposed a device targeted for the freight shipping industry, an Internet of Things enabled freight shipping monitoring system. The system will have sensors to recognize various parameters as well as position on the containers that allowing a person to have a more accurate data of each container leading to better management in the shipping process.
