Angle and Distance Measurement System using Ultrasonic Radar

Abstract

In today’s world, automation is prevailing everywhere. Attempts are made to automate various processes to avoid errors due to human negligence and increase efficiency. To automate the object detection and distance measurement ultrasonic sensors are used. Cameras installed in security systems fail to work properly in low or very dim light conditions. Such problems can be solved using ultrasonic sensors. This research paper proposes efficient automated systems using ultrasonic sensors and arduino for the calculation of angle and distance of the object. This can be used in automated car parking systems or security systems which can work efficiently at night as well. Using this Sensor error due to human negligence can be avoided and efficiency can be increased.
