Abstract

Abstract
In an ad-hoc network transmission, interchange of data is done only through wireless medium. Number of ways and techniques have been used in past to estimate the quality of service (QoS) in wireless ad-hoc network protocols. Evaluating the QoS rating of wireless ad-hoc routing protocol namely, AODV and DSR forms is the main purpose of this paper which will determine the apt protocol to be used for different network scenarios. In this paper, comparison of the performance of AODV and DSR through some of the core parameters is done. An approach is initiated to judge the mentioned protocols and according to the QoS measure, one can get the idea of suitability of each protocol in different network scenarios.
