Abstract

This survey covers effect of some factors in type of products in any reaction. A catalyst speeds up a chemical reaction, without being consumed by the reaction. Catalysts that used in any reaction, as it affects the nature of the product, its quantity, purity, color, degree of stability, the physical and chemical properties, the resulting isomers, the essential and secondary resulted of each reaction, and even the reaction conditions. It increases the reaction rate by lowering the activation energy for a reaction, the average kinetic energy of the molecules remains the same but the required energy decreases. A catalyst is a substance which speeds up a reaction, on the other hand is chemically unchanged at its end. When the reaction has finished, the mass of catalyst is the same as at the beginning.
