Abstract

Changing climatic condition created more discomfortness for the people to reside inside the building. Several elements regarding its behaviour in elevated temperature is still need to be reviewed. A methodical review of the effects of realistic heat exposure is required to untangle the ambiguity of spalling. Decisions on the kind of concrete mix, cooling amenities and building strategies to be used in the erection of a concrete shape can solely be made, if the thermal behaviour and power of the concrete can be expected throughout the method of hydration. This work describes the development of a low cost tile which gives better strength and heat resistance property when exposed to high temperature.
