The main objective of the present work is to investigate the importance of model order reduction technique for the robust stability analysis of interval polynomial. Design of robust control for reduced order model is easier than that for higher order model. In this paper, simple approach is proposed to determine reduced order model of an unstable open-loop attitude control system. This approach is based on Krishnamurthy’s approach on Routh criterion for reduced order modeling. The results are simulated in MATLAB environment.
