Face Recognition Attendance System: A Review

Abstract


The distinctiveness or individuality of an individual face is the representation of one’s identity. In this mission, face of a character is used for the reason of attendance making robotically. Attendance of the pupil could be very essential for each college and university. The conventional technique for taking attendance is through calling the name or roll variety of the scholar and the attendance is recorded. Time intake for this cause is an important point of the problem. Expect that the period for one concern is around 60 min or 1 h, and to file attendance takes 5 to 10 min. For every instruct, that is the consumption of time. To stay far away from these losses, an automatic system is used in this challenge which is based totally on image processing. In this undertaking, face detection and face popularity are used. Face detection is used to find the position of the face area and face reputation is used for marking the understudy’s attendance. The database of all the students in the class is saved and when the face of the character scholar fits one of the faces saved within the database then the attendance is recorded.
