Stabilizing PI Controller Design of ĆUK Converter using Boundary Locus Method

Abstract


In this paper, controller design aspects of ĆUK converter considering the uncertain parameters are discussed using stability boundary locus method. The mathematical modeling aspects of ĆUK converter are described and stabilizing PI controller parameter region is obtained by considering relative stabilization aspects of specific gain and phase margin and also desired settling time. ĆUK converter dynamic performance and stability is  verified using the designed controller in the PSIM environment under source and load disturbances with these specifications 8 V to -12 V.
