Effluent water treatment plant works by removing sludge and bacteria from wastewater before releasing them into river. Several river basins are closed due to the excessive growth in the agricultural area, semi urbanization as well as in the industrialization. The performance of wastewater treatment plants for the treatment of small waste also does not meet the required standards. Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) mainly consists of treatment tanks, clarifier, filter press and dual media filter, preliminary treatment, sludge removal and disposals, filtration and pH maintenance are the main methods to improve the performance of the effluent treatment plant to reduce the operating costs. The reuse of water for horticultural water system is frequently seen as a positive method for reusing water because of the potential substantial volumes of water that can be utilized. Reused water can have the benefit of being a consistent, dependable water source and diminishes the measure of water separated from the earth.
