Abstract

This study reviews the characteristics of aluminum alloy with Hematite particulate composite reinforced at different wt. % prepared by different casting methods through which we can achieve required hardness, wear resistance, microstructure and life extension of an automotive parts. This paper describes the chemical composition of different aluminum alloys and Hematite. SEM analysis is studied in order to determine the nature of the structure and Design of Experiments (DOE) using Taguchi’s method and results will be validated with experimental work.
