Abstract

Abstract

Our main aim behind this project is to establish a comparative analysis between solar panels employing multiaxis solar trackers. Hence, it is intent to construct single axis solar tracker and dual axis solar tracker and to have a comparative analysis between no, single and dual axes solar tracker. The main controlling section will be developed using microcontroller. Light dependent resistors (LDR) will be used as a sensor which detects the light. The LDRs are associated with the solar panel. After detecting the position of the sun by identifying the intensity of sun light with LDR, the solar panel will be moved accordingly with the help of servo motor. Again, solar panels efficiency may decrease if dust covers the panel surface. So the project includes the feature to clean the solar panel. A motor pump will be incorporated where after a certain interval of time water will be drained out and thus the solar panel can be cleaned up.
