Compact Pseudo-interdigital Bandpass Filter for L-Frequency Band

Abstract

In this paper, a different kind of microstrip bandpass filter is presented which is small in size and easy in fabrication. This microstrip filter is pseudo-interdigital bandpass filter at the operating mid-band frequency of 1.75 Ghz, which is in L-frequency band (1–2 Ghz). Unlike the conventional interdigital bandpass filters, in which we use short circuit connection by a via hole, this filter is simple and compact and its design is easy to fabricate without any compulsion.
