A Technical Overview of Wind Power Generation System
Abstract
Wind energy is pollution free and unbreakable. Wind energy is an important test research for long range control for now. Wind power has been subject to primary concentration in building power for decades and a considerable measure of exploration work is underway on environmentally friendly power, clearly wind energy extraction. There are various segments of a WECS of which the most significant is the sort of generator utilized. There are a few sorts of generators utilized for example, self-excited IG (SEIG), doubly fed IG (DFIG) and permanent magnet SG (PMSG) among these generator, permanent magnet SG has a few favorable circumstances which make it truly usable for WECS. It does not require an extra DC supply for excitation circuit. Wind energy provides an eco- adjusting force age and helps meet the need for public energy due to the decreasing pattern in relation to non-sustainable resources. This paper outlines the most recent improvements in the performance and control of wind energy age settings. DTC (direct torque control) of nomination machines gives an option as opposed to vector control. This strategy directly controls machine force and speed by choosing voltage vectors from that uses stator transition and force data. This paper reviews the modeling and control strategy of wind power generation systems.Downloads
