Abstract

This current workinvolves the study of high capacity radio relays (HCRR). The HCRR has a high data rate, usually used in military communications. It also exhibits excellent anti-jamming capabilities. The HCRR has very good error correction capabilities and also the interleaving is excellent. The work produces an overall study on the error probability found in the designs and also provides a brief idea of optimising it. The study also involves the design aspects considered while building these types of relays. The diversity techniques of accessing the channel is studied here. The issues such as fading and interference due to multiple paths is discussed here.
