Abstract

This article gives us a insight about 3D printer technology considering its concepts, history and technology of a 3D printer. The major points covered in this article are Introduction of 3D printer, background, problem statement and scope of 3D printer. The printing process involves creating of a 3-dimensional model, converting it into. STL file, slicing it, feeding the stl file to the 3D printer and the final printing process done in the layer by layer of the virtual model. The reason of this project is to fabricate the 3D model and utilizing it using normal 3D software such as Inventor.
