Modification of Oscillating Mechanism of Table Fan for Throwing Air 360º

Abstract

Table fan is one of the common electric appliances used in houses, offices, shops and business establishments to provide air circulation which can greatly improve the atmosphere of any environment. Fan circulates the air, which enhances the evaporation rate of sweat from body, due to which body is cooled. There are many advantages of table fan compared to ceiling fan. Due to its portability, it can be used anywhere. The conventional table fan has limitation of throwing air in limited space around it due to its oscillating mechanism. Different open space programs like marriage, katha, etc. require more no. of table fan due to this limitation. To eliminate this limitation, oscillating mechanism is modified to rotate the fan head 360º and throw air in all directions. Male and female type connectors are used in stand of fan for wire connection to avoid problem of wire winding around column with 360º rotation of fan.
