This paper centers around the development and assembly of a firefighting robot engineered to sense and extinguish fires. The robot integrates environmental sensing and proportional motor control principles to adeptly identify and combat fire incidents. It relies on sensors such as thermistors, ultraviolet sensors, or flame sensors to detect the presence of flames. Once a fire is detected, the robot triggers an electronic valve to dispense water sprinkles onto the fire. The robot is also furnished with a microcontroller that processes data collected from various sensors and manages the robot's operations. The project aims to generate interest and innovation in the field of robotics, providing a practical and attainable solution to save lives and minimize property damage. By employing robots for fire-fighting and rescue activities, the risks faced by human firefighters can be reduced, as robots can function autonomously or be controlled from a safe distance. The robot described in this paper utilizes DC motors, wheels, a microcontroller, sensors, and a small fire extinguisher cylinder. The microcontroller plays a central role in controlling all aspects of the robot through programming. When the fire sensor detects a fire, it sends a signal to the microcontroller, which amplifies the signal and performs the necessary operations to extinguish the fire.
