Abstract

Abstract

This paper presents how to create smart dustbin for waste segregation using electronics devices and Wi-Fi module for smart bin monitoring purpose. As the increase in human population is directly proportion to the need of resources that causes increases in garbage. Many cities around the world are endangered due to poor garbage management. This project aims to find a solution by using a smart dustbin which is the Internet of Things (IOT) and Wi-Fi enabled. A smart trash bin segregates wastes by itself as metal waste, dry waste, and wet waste with the help of electromagnet, garbage sensor, and IR (infrared) sensor.
