Virtual Instrumentation Based Remote Laboratory for E-Learning of Microcontroller

Parmar Vijaykumar B, D. S. Pipalia

Abstract

This paper describes the development and experimental evaluation of an e-laboratory platform in the field of Microcontroller. The system invites current configuration is designed to enable distance training of students in real scenarios of Microcontroller programming. A virtual laboratory uses computer-based simulation to emulate hardware. This paper presents a new way to interact with these kinds of systems via the Internet, gives the possibility for complete interaction. National Instruments Lab View is used to develop the applications which allow the interaction between the system and the remote user. Paper suggests a new way to practice in laboratories without being present, yet retaining the feel of an actual laboratory environment
