Microcontroller based photovoltaic energy operated smart window

Abstract


In today's world, life is completely dependent on technology and its application. There is continual growth in information and communication technology for the benefit of the mankind.Everyone wants to fulfill all consumers' expectations from the standpoint of conserving energy and having an efficient smart way of life. This paper aims to develop a smart window designed for smart houses to enhance the life style in modern era .The smart window developed in this work is powered by renewable energy sources like Solar energy using microcontroller as one of the main backbone of the design. To accomplish the mechanism, the smart window makes use of three sensors and an actuator connected to the Uno board. The design is maintained simple and cost-effective, keeping in mind the necessity of energy saving and a pollution-free experience by using green energy.
