Ganesha G.C., Varshitha G., Akshay G., Ishita Anand, Ayush Kumar

Abstract

The paper aims to address the challenges faced by pet owners in ensuring precise feeding, real-time health monitoring, and remote-control capabilities. By integrating hardware components such as Arduino Mega, Project Board, Liquid Crystal Display, Power Supply, and Load Cell, long with software development in Embedded C and Arduino Uno, the Pet Feeder system offers a comprehensive solution for remote pet care. The system allows pet owners to input the pet's weight and breed, which determines the feeding schedule and portion control. Real-time health monitoring is enabled through temperature and activity level sensors, providing timely insights into the pet’s well-being. The Pet Feeder system utilizes the Load Cell to measure the food weight and dispenses the appropriate amount of food into the pet's bowl. The incorporation of IoT ensures user-friendly and seamless connectivity. The project surpasses traditional pet feeding methods by offering dynamic feeding accuracy based on individual pet characteristics. Additionally, real-time health monitoring and automated food dispensing enhance the overall pet care experience for pet owners The proposed IoT-based automated Pet Feeder system presents an innovative solution for pet owners to deal with the challenge in traditional feeding methods. Its integration of hardware and software components, along with its remote control and real time monitoring capabilities, offer convenience, precision, and peace of mind for pet owners The project contributes to the advancement of pet care management and aligns with the demand for technological solutions in the pet industry.
