A Review on Soil Moisture Sensor
Abstract
In this paper, we are interfacing a soil moisture sensor with Arduino. This moisture sensor can study the quantity of moisture present within the soil surrounding it. It is a low-tech sensor, however best for tracking an urban garden, or your plant's water stage. This is a tool for the related garden. This sensor uses two probes to pass through the soil, after which it reads that resistance to get the moisture level. More water makes the soil conduct electricity greater without problems (less resistance), at the same time as dry soil conducts electricity poorly (extra resistance). It will be beneficial to remind you to water your indoor vegetation or to monitor the soil moisture to your garden.
