Review on Microstrip Patch for Detection of Breast Cancer

Kranti D.Patil

Abstract

Abstract

As the number of breast cancer patients are increasing , we need more reliable method that can helps in detecting the type of cancer in early stages which will lead to save the patients’ lives as the earlier tumor is detected the higher chance for recovery. Therefore the aim of our project is to design compact low profile wearable antenna that is used for early cancer detection with low cost. In this work we will use the microstrip patch antenna which is most suitable type of antenna for this project due to its small size, light weight, low profile, easy fabrication & low cost. Next, frequency band is ISM band , which is the industrial , scientific & medical band is used in this work. The frequency range is 2.4Ghz to 2.5GHz
