Abstract

Abstract

This review article describes the methods of fabrication of composites using carbon fibre and polypropylene and improving the mechanical properties of composites. Recycled carbon fibre/polypropylene (reCF/PP) wrap-spun yarns were compared to the virgin carbon fibre. The aim is to enhance the tensile properties of the CFRPP/SRPP intralayer hybrid composites under tensile stresses; observations of different kinds of weave patterns and layups are resulted.
