Fuelling the Future!! Exploring Bioenergy Technology

Abstract

The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has revived the debate whether biofuels are boon or a bane. There is constant strife between policy makers whether to divert these grains for biofuel or sell in the food market. This paper aims to analyse its adaptability in a developing country like India. This done by assessing the positive and negative impact of Biofuel and its usage world over in both economic and environmental terms. It will also attempt to ascertain if a developing country like India who has not delved in biofuel usage in a big way should follow the herd blindly.
