Abstract

Current LPG (liberalized/Privatized/Globalized) market is open and highly competitive market. The Zero defect is Quality concept to survive in this market. Current scenario of today’s industries is to implement zero defect concepts in production/manufacturing system. “Zero defect” concept can be achieved through quality “Core Tools” which includes excellent quality assurance tools to improve the quality of manufacture. It also focuses on customer satisfaction. Core tools include various tools such as Process flow diagram (PFD), Failure mode effective analysis (FMEA), control plan (CP), Statistical process control (SPC), Gauge R & R and Measuring system analysis (MSA). This paper elaborates zero defect concept through core tools to achieve the quality of products.
