Structural Analysis of Clapper Block Swivel Plate Using Fusion 360

Kavinkumar L, Rajkumar E.

Abstract

In this research, a finite element routine was used to calculate the static displacements and stresses in the clapper block swivel plate under maximum loadings, which were then used for critical point evaluation. Fatigue analysis and longevity were assessed through the use of Fusion 360 software. The need to predict how a product will reach over its life cycle has grown over the years. Metal and other industries must demonstrate design durability and plan effective maintenance schedules. Crack growth caused by fatigue loads plays a significant role in restricting product life. This review reports on a study carried out using 3D modelling. The model was designed in Fusion 360. Boundary conditions such as maximum load, the clapper block swivel plate, material properties, and shear stress were found using structural analysis such as von Mises stress analysis and static structural deformation analysis.
