Abstract

The employment of technology to prevent fires is essential because they are a serious threat. One example of how technology can be used to put out fires while reducing the risk to human life is a fire-fighting robot. In this project, a fire-fighting robot was created to locate and put out fires. The robot's ability to detect flames in all four directions is provided by a combination of flame sensors, an ESP32 controller, and a 16-channel analog/digital MUX Breakout. In order to spray water on the flames, the robot is additionally outfitted with a water tank and a pump motor. For continuous water level detection, the tank additionally incorporates a level sensor. An IR sensor was incorporated into the design to assure safety. An IR sensor was incorporated into the design to assure safety. Any accidents are avoided thanks to the IR sensor, which recognises obstructions and prevents the robot from approaching the flames. The robot is programmed to move towards the detected flame while rotating in its direction and spraying water. The creation of the robot demonstrates a high level of automation and effectiveness. Because it lowers the risk to human life and protects first responders' safety, the employment of technology in fire-fighting robots is important. In dangerous places, fire-fighting robots can also be utilised to lessen the risk to people's lives.
