Dynamic Wind and Seismic Effect on Hexagrid Structure
Abstract
As the height of the structure increases above 80m the wind lateral forces on the structure become more and more dominant than others. Furthermore, the wind dynamic calculation required for the proper Analysis of the wind. In the current paper the wind gust force has calculated by using IS 875:2015. The calculated forces have been applied on the Steel moment frame building along with the peripheral braced system. The peripheral brace system has modelled in Hexagrid pattern to exert a lateral force. The Hexagrid system is a new invention in the modern technology era which comes out by observing natural structures like a beehive and spider web structure. The wind gust force has been calculated by formulation and graphs mentioned in the IS 875:2015. The Dynamic analysis for the seismic loads has been applied as per IS 1893(Part 1):2016. Furthermore, The building has Analyzed and Designed for the applied loads and forces & the Displacement, Base shear & Storey Drift with respect to wind gust effect have been worked out.
