Abstract

This research paper presents a comparative study of metal-reinforced steel fibers in concrete. The study aims to analyze the effects of incorporating metal fibers along with steel fibers on the Compressive, flexure, and structural properties of steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC). Analytical review were conducted on various concrete mixtures, comparing samples with different shape of steel fibers. The results show that the addition of metal fibers improves the mechanical properties of SFRC, such as flexural and tensile strength, impact resistance, and durability against chloride ion penetration and freeze-thaw cycles.

Keywords

Metal-reinforced steel fibers, concrete, steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC), mechanical proper-ties, durability.
