Novolac nano additives (0–40) wt.% were added to NBR/CR hybrid blends and study the influence on mechanical properties of rubber. Mechanical properties included: hardness, resilience, and Compressibility. The results obtained from IRHD test, hardness test and compression test shown that the novolac nano additives has a positive effect on the hardness of hybrid rubber, where the hybrid rubber hardness increases with increasing the amount of novolac nano additive. In the case of compressive strength and resiliency, the situation is quite the opposite, where we observe dropping the value of these properties after adding novolac nano additive.
