Review on Approach to systematic Biomimetic Part Design for Additive Manufacturing
Abstract
For a serial production of complex mechanical components an industry relevant technology known as Additive manufacturing (AM) is a broad concept. For a product optimization with these complex components principle of biomimetic ensures innovative product. The additive manufacturing has potential on a systematic and economic design base. To overcome on an unsystematic design, a cost intensive and long term trial and error part design optimization, an additive manufacturing provides a systematic biomemitic design approach. In order to identify suitable set of methods to be used, a methodology for a systematic part design development introduced using TRIZ.Downloads
