In this study, pure [PVA: PVP] polymer blend film and MnCl2·4H2O salt reinforced polymer blend films at different weight ratios (10–50) wt%) were prepared by using the casting method. The effect of salt weight ratio on the mechanical properties of the [PVA: PVP] polymer blend films reinforced by MnCl2·4H2O salt was also studied. The experimental results obtained from the tensile test of the [PVA: PVP] polymer blend films reinforced by MnCl2·4H2O salt increasing and decreasing in the value of Young’s modulus with increasing MnCl2·4H2O salt weight ratios, the hardness value and the fracture energy value increases with increasing MnCl2·4H2O salt weight ratio, thus they could be good candidates for hard adhesiveswith low flexibilityReferences
